Our 30-year research and development programme

BVMF® arose from a 30-year R&D programme conducted by our CEO, David Jacobs. David gained high value results for business organisations in the 1980s, started documenting BVMF® in the ‘90s and has been updating it ever since, daily.

BVMF® does not replace other methods and practices but underpins and enhances them, focusing on pragmatic maximisation of value. Nothing is lost in terms of a client’s existing preferred practices and skills, they just become more effective.

Business Value Maximisation Specialism

As well as consulting, we train and accredit Business Value Maximisation Specialists.

We tailor every assignment to client needs, either training in-house professionals in BVMF® or applying it on our client’s behalf, whatever is most appropriate.

We include in our service portfolio project rescue/turnaround services in case clients have any projects that are disappointing expectations. We help to align expectations which clients find a great starting point to move to a better world of IT engendered value. We also provide value-boosting business analysis and project and programme management.

We offer a free introductory presentation to BVMF® where we focus on any specific challenges needing address.

We then work to raise a client’s overall capability to generate value and target specific areas to strengthen aspects needing attention.

We recommend clients start their value maximisation journey in a well-defined not too wide business area to build up skills and capabilities stably and progressively.

BVMF® Itself

BVMF® is a skillset as well as a framework. It lives and breathes! It has 100 models that define the challenges at macro level and point to micro level solutions. It also has several hundred Concepts, Principles, Guidelines and Techniques (GPGTs) to action to maximise value. Targeted documentation is provided at appropriate points during training or consultancy.
