Innovative software makes energy monitoring a breeze
Community Interest Company
Loop specialise in maximising the re-use of IT assets which other companies feel are worthy only of re-cycling. Taking assets from companies, educational establishments and governmental organisations, Loop, utilising their supported factories work force, spend longer fixing and testing the functionality of assets than the majority of other parties in the industry. This extends the life of lower end and older equipment. Once these assets have been made fully functional Loop distribute them into community projects here and abroad
Once these assets then reach the end of that period of their life, Loop ensures they are managed back into the right e-waste channel ensuring MAXIMUM RE-USE with CONTROL OF THE ASSET at its ultimate end of life. Through the Microsoft Registered refurbisher scheme and the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management Loop is able to supply quality valued computers.
Loop, as a Community Interest Company, is keen to make IT available to all members of the community and provide work opportunities within the IT waste establishment. Loop is currently involved in plan to supply IT to orphanages and schools in Malawi.
100 recycled computers is 100 lost opportunities, but is only 1 tonne of recycled material.
